2 more people in the world that believe…
2nd August 2007
I and my husband have lived believing in “EHFAR for a long time now and we both have many situations where this has proven to be true. Even when the most worst things happen one can only believe that it happened for a reason. 6 months ago I got a tattoo in my arm that says Everything Happens for A reason in an asian language.
Just wanted to let you guys know at least there are 2 more people in the world that believe the same way.

Dear Akd, You’re not going to believe this… In 2000 I got an EHFAR tattoo on my left shoulder. I wear it proudly…
I had always wanted to get a tattoo. But, there’s a EHFAR story behind it:
I was playing co-ed softball through with some folks from my work. I played left field. I came in hard on a short pop-up, dove for the ball head-first and landed on my left shoulder. I ended up dislocating my shoulder and breaking my collar-bone. The very next day, a friend of mine picked me up, gave me some of my own medicine (EHFAR) and that evening we both got tattoos on our shoulders. I haven’t played softball since. A few lessons learned from this EHFAR experience:
1. If I’m going to play softball, play for fun and not to compete.
2. I was the strongest I ever was that summer, could bench the house (360 lb bench), however I wasn’t happy with my body, couldn’t fit in my jeans anymore, and feeling sore every morning. So, I took that same energy and transitioned to endurance sports (triathlons, running).
3. No better time then the present to get a tattoo.
